Yay hoo!!! I finally had time over the weekend to play a little bit…
First off, I want to make sure that you know - I DID NOT COLOR THESE IMAGES - THEY ARE STICKERS!!! My DS (4 yo) has a severe sticker collection of all types that he has gotten from doctors and the girls at the Pequot Emergency Room. (Tells you a lot about my kids health, doesn’t it? That’s another blog…) Well, when I saw the Tinkerbell ones, I had to claim them as mine cuz they are just so stinkin’ cute. I didn’t want to ruin the sticker idea - so they are mono’d to the cardstock WITH the original sticker backing so the sticker can actually be used by the card’s recipient. How genius is that, eh? I am pretty darn proud to have come up with that all by my ‘lil ol’ self!!! *BIG cheesy grin*

Okay, so one day last week I clicked on a banner ad that said “I Blog For Free Stamps” at SplitcoastStampers. Who can resist an ad like that?? Certainly not me!!! Well, I clicked and I signed up to get free stamps, of course!!!
Yesterday morning I received an email from the RubberStampingFun company, which is the ad that I clicked on, letting me know that I had been chosen to help ‘test’ some of their stamp sets! These stamp sets are also NEVER BEFORE SEEN SETS!!!!! How exciting is that??? I am still a little shocked as I NEVER win anything, much less something as cool as this, ya’ know? Free stamps? To play with? Every few months a new set? Somebody pinch me!!! I have to be dreaming… right???
AND it gets even better… this morning I received another email from RSF that said we (Rubber Reviewers) will be able to CHOOSE the sets we want!!! Holy flyin’ purple cows!!!
Of course, I was a little skeptical at first… what do I have to buy in return? how much is the shipping gonna cost me? do they expect me to return the sets? how fast are they wanting to see what I have done with the sets they have sent me? Ya’ know, the typical - ‘this is just too good to be true’ questions. They expect nothing in return except a mini review with some images and such on my blog and I have like 60 days to play and post! That, I can definitely handle!!!
As soon as I receive my new sets to play with, I’ll be posting here with a review as well as some photos. Stay tuned!!!

I have been playing with my MS Image software trying to learn how to make the watermarks that everyone has now and I finally figured out how to do them. I also wanted to make sure that I had the correct info on them as per SU’s rules so after browsing some blogs I found my answer… Beth at Freckled Fun Designs had the answer I was looking for. (Love her blog, BTW!) I have wanted to do this for awhile but didn’t have the complete understanding of my Image program and what it is capable of doing. Check this out… hee hee

Isn’t that cool?? I am so proud of myself! yeah!!! (I can be such a dork!) Obviously, it is on the blue back ground so you can see it better. I’m still playing around with it and found out that this program does MANY really cool things!!!

I will be playing with this for a few days now that I have figured it out. Let me know if you want one and I’ll see what I can do.
I’ll post more as I do them. Off to play…

I actually got to stamp last night!!! YEAH!!! And play with my new Prismacolor pencils! YEAH!!! I never dreamed that I would have to *learn* how to color with pencils! They color so easy and smooth, it’s wonderful! I’m gonna try to get some blending practice in over the next few days so that I can actually use them for what they are meant for, ya’ know? I am totally impressed with the intense colors that these pencils have.
My nephew is turning 6 next week (I still cannot believe he is going to be 6!!!) so I had to use this cute lil’ crab for his birthday card.
(Hi Brandon! This is for you sweetie!!!
) For those of you who don’t know, Brandon is one half of Kimberly’s pride and joy… Alexis would be the other half!
