I have searched every Michael’s from CT to FL looking for these super cute Scrap Paper Scissors totes… in the pink and brown. It had to be pink or I didn’t want it. I know, I’m being silly but if I have to pay for something… I want what I want, ya’ know? So, I heard from a friend that she saw the bags at our local Michael’s today - for $19.99!!! in PINK!!! I thought, yeah, sure. It’s probably not the one I am looking for. It couldn’t be. Well, after talking with her, I called Michael’s to see if they did have them and I almost fell out of my chair when she said “yes”. So, I packed up the kids and off we went. To Michael’s. At 5:30 pm. Wow, do I have issues! Well, I am now the proud owner of one pink and brown Scrap Paper Scissors tote!!! Yeah!!! (The best part is that I didn’t spend like $40.00 or $50.00 on this same bag on eBay.)

Well, this one is for my Mama. All the grandbabies call her Grammy and so I made this for her to hang up at work. I really liked the way it turned out and so now I’m gonna have to make another one… um, for me this time!!!
The frame came from good ol’ WallyMart for I think $5.00.

How fun is that set? OMGarsh!!! The possibilities are just endless… I have a few more guy birthdays coming up which will invole this cute lil’ crab.
I actually got the idea for my card from my fantabulous sis-in-law, Kimberly. This was the birthday card she made for my birthday last month and I just thought it was the cutest thing ever!!! (Thanks Kimmy!)

You never know when you are going to need a card quickly and if your life is anything like mine, I’m not guaranteed stamping time on a daily basis so I decided that when ever I do get the chance to stamp, I would try to make an extra ‘any occasion’ card to add to my collection. Now when I need one, I’ll have it! Of course, if I don’t have one ready - that’s an excuse to stamp! Either way, I’m good…

I posted a card to my SCS Gallery yesterday and last night someone pm’d me wanting to know how I tied the ribbon so perfectly. Well, about 2 years ago (gosh, where has the time gone?) I stumbled onto this wonderful website full of all kinda goodies: TheCardladies.com. It’s a nifty little gadget called the Bow Maker. To find it, click on the link that says Bow Maker or you can just click here. There are so many nice things about this cute lil’ helper… It makes several different size bows, it’s small and comes with awesome instructions with picture details so anyone can do it! Wa-La, the perfect bow everytime!
Now for the card!
My girlfriend has two daughters, ages 5 and 3 who get so excited to get mail that is just for them so I make sure to send them each a card (so they don’t have to share, who shares at that age?
). Anyways, I decided to do the cards with the first letter of their names and this is what I came up with. They will just be tickled pink!!! (As any little girl would be for getting a card in the mail, right?)
